Mercedes is all set to launch two new AMG variants of the new sixth generation E class at the New York Motor Show in March. While the E43 is destined to be the most powerful version of the E class series, it is being named as the ‘AMG Lite’ version and will be positioned a slot below (in terms of performance) the E63 scheduled to launch later.
The new E43, with an optional 4Matic drive is powered by the 3-litre twin-turbo V6 engine rated at 295 kW and 520 Nm and is focused on bridging the gap between civilian models. Mercedes have claimed that the car can make it from 0-100 km/h in a mere 4.6 seconds, the same as Audi claims for their S6. The 4Matic system offering four wheel drive gets its power from a 9-speed 9G- Tronic automatic gearbox and caters to the people who prefer over steering by sending 69 percent of the power to the rear wheels.
Unlike the other AMG sedans, the E43 is expected to be much calmer and subtle. What separates it from the regular E class sedans is the sports chassis which is based on the air suspension system known as air body control, providing the ease and comfort when required and is complemented by a more direct steering ratio with adaptive damping. Another feature which makes it stand out of the crowd is the set of five spoke, 19-inch alloys painted in high gloss black color, a silver chrome diffuser, a spoiler lip combined with a diamond grille and a gloss black louvre.
Not only does the latest AMG beauty sport a powerful engine and an exclusive look but it is also packed with the latest technology made up of sensors and components making the drive more efficient and ecofriendly. But, to create such a product with such complex systems and controllable components, experts are needed from various fields to come together and working towards synchronizing several objects to get the desired results. Optical designers, mechanical engineers and electronic experts are some the most sought after professionals and FindTech, being a freelance market place connects its clients with people who have an expertise in specific fields with over ten years of experience and have previously worked on projects which need skill and talent.
